4.13.09 Regional artist Terence Robertson has been in over the past few weeks with Josh Antonuccio laying down vocal tracks for a handful of new songs. Along with him have been members of his group X-Y-Axis, including the uber-talented vocalist Josh Aikens. Terence will be finishing up more material in the weeks to follow so be sure to keep out an eye for an upcoming release.

4.10.09 Tim Pfaff's new album "Promises" is now available. Tim worked with producer/engineer Chris Pyle and a host of great musicians including Clay Flaherty of Kaslo fame. Be sure to pick up a copy at Haffa's or Donkey Coffee!

4.8.09 Another FANTASTIC record is on the way. Tony Xenos was in last week with his new band, including long-time collaborators Geoff Osterland and Rob Powell. They recorded the first part of a collection of new songs he's been working on, along with some older material he re-worked.

The result is a high-energy and thoughtfully melodic body of songs.

3.16.09 Josh Antonuccio heads down to Austin,TX this week for South by Southwest. He'll be playing with Emily Rodgers and her band for two sets, one at the Moon Jaw Records party and the other at the Misra Records showcase. Southeast Engine will also be at the Misra showcase performing. If you're going to be at SxSW, be sure to stop in for these shows. It's going to be great!

3.11.09 Nate Anders of the terrific band, The Spike Drivers, stopped in this week to play vibes on Joey Hebdo's upcoming record. Nate's a terrific player and and all-around great guy. Be sure to check out one of their upcoming shows!

3.5.09 Columbus' own The Cheap Dates were in this weekend with Josh Antonuccio to finalize overdubs and to mix their upcoming EP. These garage/surf rock heroes are an AMAZING up and coming band in Ohio with terrific songs reminiscent of the likes of The Ventures, Link Wray, and Guided By Voices. Be sure to pick up their release!

3.1.09 Bradley Hathaway's new full-length album "Mouth Full of Dust" is now available! This album was produced and engineered by Josh Antonuccio and featured a host of national and regional musicians. Tracks are available for download via Itunes and a CD with 40-page booklet is available through retailers as well. He and his band are currently on tour. Be sure to check out a show and pick up a copy of this phenomenal record.


2.16.09 Southeast Engine's The Forest To The Sea is out tomorrow on Misra Records! Congratulations guys! Josh Antonuccio produced and engineered the record and mixed along with Adam Remnant. The newly started label Moon Jaw Records will be doing a vinyl release of the album on 180 gram vinyl. Many reviews have already come out and they have been overwhelmingly positive. Try to catch them on their upcoming tour!


2.1.09 Columbus,OH songwriter Joey Hebdo is starting up work on a new full-length album of material with producer/engineer Josh Antonuccio. Joey spent the better part of a year on the west coast and has gathered together a terrific collection of new songs for his latest release. Guest musicians will be on hand throughout the record including members of The Spikedrivers and Stella. Look for a release later in the spring.

1.25.09 For the Chinese New Year, the Chinese Student Association recorded the song "Welcome to OU" while at the same time creating a music video that was shown at the Chinese New Year celebration on Ohio University's campus. Engineer Pat Balding worked with this group of nearly 20 people featured on the recording.


1.19.09 Scott Danielson has recently joined the ranks of engineers working at 3 Elliott Studio. Scott has is finishing up his audio production degree at Ohio University and has begun taking on some great new projects this year.


1.14.09 Marc Davis' collection of recordings from the past two years is now being mastered by Jeff Lipton at Peerless Mastering in Boston, MA. The album will feature songs from the two sessions that Marc did in 2007 and 2008 with producer/engineer Josh Antonuccio. Marc is finishing up his time at Berklee College of Music in Boston and will be promoting the album this year.

1.7.09 A new band called "Like Autumn" was in this week to work on a a new collection of songs. They are working with 3 Elliott Studio engineer Scott Danielson. Scott just joined us last year and we're glad to have him on board. Watch for upcoming shows in the near future by Like Autumn!

12.31.08 Thanks to everyone for making 2008 our best year yet! So many talented musicians from all across the country have been with us this year, making fantastic records and finding 3 Elliott Studio to be a comfortable and enriching place in which to make their music come to life. We feel so privileged to have been able to have worked with all of you that came to record with us this year and we look forward to making even more great music in 2009. Happy new year to you all!

12.25.08 The long-awaited, globe-spanning record by Indelible Bean Curd is now available! Both Christopher Pyle and Josh Antonuccio helped out resident genius Dan Dreifort and NYC genius Ethan Rand with this record, assuming some of the music, engineering, and production duties in Athens. The remainder was tracked in NYC over the course of a few years. Pick up a copy today!


12.20.08 Athens' own Russenorsk has now completed mixing and is having their new album "Comforts" mastered by Jeff Lipton at Peerless Mastering. They teamed up with producer/engineer Josh Antonuccio and have a release show slated for January. Russenorsk is a brilliant band and they have put together a fabulous collection of songs here.

12.11.08 This past weekend producer/engineer Chris Weibel brought back Annasis for another drum session. Hailing from State College, PA, this three piece has begun to pick up a faithful following and is currently at work finishing up their current record.

12.08.08 Pittsburgh's own Emily Rodgers' new record "The Dead Don't Heal" has been picked up by Misra Records and is slated for a release in early 2009. Emily worked with producer Josh Antonuccio and got additional help from the sonic maestro Kramer for mixing and mastering. This is a phenomenal record! Check out Emily in Athens when she plays in January at Casa with Southeast Engine.

11.22.08 Josh Antonuccio has begun mixing work on a new record with Detroit's own musical guru Blair. This is a great record and was tracked over the summer by Christopher Pyle. Blair's record is slated for release in early 2009.

11.15.08 Local musician John Gerdy is in the studio with engineer Josh Richardson working on a new project. Look for a release sometime in 2009.

11.12.08 Former Mutilitia alumni Chris Love and Kye Wright stopped in with their new band, formerly known as Civilian. Their new line-up is a killer Metal outfit and they churned out
a stellar 5-song collection with engineer Josh Antonuccio in about a day. Keep your eyes open for their next show in the area.

11.01.08 3 Elliott Studio is happy to welcome Pat Balding on board as one of our newest engineers. Pat is from the Hocking College Music Program and is an excellent engineer
and all-around music guy. He's currently mixing a new record with Essence and is working with Josh Richardson on his solo record.
